Over the last week I’ve been working as a session guitarist alongside award-winning producer William Lucey. I’ve enjoyed my time working alongside such an experienced producer who has worked with major artists including Alicia Keys, REM, George Harrison and more. One of the things I love about working as a session guitarist is the fact that no project is ever the same. Styles of guitar playing vary on each session and are tailored to individual requirements. Last week I was recording a guitar part for a country track in the style of Albert Lee and this week I’m working on a project which requires a guitar part in the style of Dick Dale. Having worked on such a variety of projects I am adaptable to most styles.
